The Winnipeg Wine Festival is excited to welcome the Wines of Argentina

Wines of Argentina are produced in Argentina,a South American country with a rich history of winemaking dating back to the 16th century. Argentina is now the sixth-largest wine-producing high-quality, flavourful wines enjoyed both domestically and internationally.

The Mendoz region, located a the foothills of the Andes mountains, is the hub of Argentina’s wine production due to its ideal grape-growing conditions. Popular grape varietals used in Argentine wine production include Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, and Torrontés, with Malbec being the most famous.

The Wines of Argentina are a unique and flavourful additon to the wine world, with a rich history that continues to evolve.
